How do I book?
The fastest way to book is on WhatsApp. Send your car, postcode, preferred days / times, and either your chosen package or “not sure”. I’ll recommend the right package if needed, confirm availability, and give you your exact quote before anything is booked.
Do I need to provide anything?
Yes. The ideal setup is access to a standard domestic power socket and an outdoor water tap at your location. If you’re unsure, message anyway and I’ll tell you whether the job is workable.
Do you take payment upfront?
No. There is no upfront payment. Your exact quote is confirmed before booking, and payment is made on the day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If conditions are not suitable for the job, the appointment will be rescheduled. The goal is to do the work properly, not force it through in poor weather.
How do you reduce scratch / swirl risk?
The aim is to clean safely, not rush through the job. That means using a controlled wash process to remove grime properly before contact and reduce the risk of adding unnecessary wash marring.
Can you remove swirl marks or scratches?
No. Full machine paint correction is not currently offered. The focus is on safe washing, deep cleaning, and protection. Existing swirl marks and deeper paint defects will still remain visible.

For most daily drivers, Seasonal Protection Detail is the best fit. It is designed for real-world use and helps keep the car easier to maintain between visits.
Who is the Maintenance Wash for?
The Maintenance Wash is for eligible vehicles already at a maintainable standard. It is upkeep only, not a reset package for heavily soiled or neglected cars.
Where do you cover?
Obsidian Detailing mainly covers Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, with some wider Staffordshire coverage depending on location. Travel fees may apply outside the core area.

The Obsidian Maintenance Club is a £35 per month upkeep plan for vehicles that have already had a Seasonal Protection Detail or Full Detail Reset. It is designed to help keep the vehicle at a strong maintenance standard.
Are there rules for joining the Maintenance Club?
Yes. The vehicle must already be at a maintainable standard, usually after a Seasonal Protection Detail or Full Detail Reset. If a vehicle is presented heavily soiled, extra time or a reset service may be needed before maintenance pricing applies again.
